      • Socialization – learning to play with others and to be comfortable with a group of children.
      • Developing –  a positive self-image.
      • Enrichment – new experiences with music, art, physical coordination, science, and books.
      • Readiness – working on skills to prepare them for Kindergarten as well as getting to experience what learning is all about.
  • What do the children do each day?
    • While the activities will vary for each age group, each class follows the same daily schedule:
      • Self-selective/small group time – each child will get to pick a center to play at while the teachers work with students in small groups.
      • Circle time – Calendar, finger plays and songs, Bible stories and discussions about the weekly themes.
      • Outdoor play – Every day (Indoors in inclement weather.)
      • Developmental activities – Creative art, language stimulation through conversation and developmental worksheets and  fine motor skills.
  • How do you discipline children?
    • In a happy and busy environment, we have few discipline problems and these are usually solved by suggestion and redirection.  The ultimate discipline is to remove the child from the situation and let him/her sit in a chair and discuss their negative choices and what choices are expected.
