Youth Mission Statement: With our eyes on the future, we are searching to know Christ’s purpose for us, as individuals and youth of First United Methodist Church of Independence. We are building Christ-centered lives through prayer, Bible study, missions, recreational activities, and fellowship. Through our witness and faith, we are striving to love others as God loves us.
Sunday School – 9:30 a.m. – Gault Hall Kitchen
The Youth Ministries group gathers every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in Gault Hall Kitchen for an engaging session of breakfast and fellowship. The atmosphere is filled with warmth and camaraderie as participants come together to share a meal, connect with one another, and explore their faith journey. The focus is not only on fostering a strong sense of fellowship but also on providing a space for open discussions, learning, and support. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the youth to strengthen their bonds, deepen their understanding of faith, and navigate the challenges of adolescence in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
