What Can I Expect at FUMC?
The best way to get to know us is to attend one of our three Sunday worship services.
Here’s a breakdown of some things you can expect.
Only one service is being held at 10:30 am in Wesley Center during the Covid-19. Safe spaces are being followed. Masks are required.
8:30 am Service Gault Chapel – first floor
If you wish to attend the 8:30 am service, it is held in the Gault Chapel n the first floor. Please follow signage. Ushers will welcome you at the two doors and give you a bulletin and will be able to answer any of your questions. Gault Chapel services have singing, prayer, Scripture readings, children’s time and worship.
10:35 am Contemporary Service Wings of Worship (WOW) in Wesley Center
Wesley Center is across the alley from the main church.
Praise God in a relaxed atmosphere through praise singing, prayer, Scripture readings, and children’s time.
A nursery is provided for children through preschool on the second floor of the church. Children are welcome to sit on the floor and play, while you worship.
11:00 am Traditions Service in the Sanctuary – second floor
Greeters will welcome you helping you find the Sanctuary. At the Sanctuary doors Ushers will provide you with a bulletin, and are available to answer any of your questions. A nursery is provided for children through preschool on the second floor or a cry room is provided at the back of the Sanctuary.
Sunday services begin with singing, prayer Scripture readings, and worship – with our music ministry team including our Chancel Choir, and Jubilation Bell Choir.
Sunday worship is broadcast on Thursday through Monday evenings at 6 pm on Cablevision, Independence Channel 72.
